Wonderlounge
W Honolulu's Wonderlounge has become the "buzz word" around Honolulu as being the hot spot for nightlife. The atmosphere provides an antidote of sorts to the casual shorts-and-slippers affairs about town. At the W, don't even think about it.

August 2000 marked the opening of the Wonderlounge with over 900 of the most beautiful people of Honolulu in attendance of the grand opening celebration and it's been the place to see and be seen ever since. Experience the "Wonderlounge Weekends", Friday and Saturday nights of style, music, dancing, and true Honolulu charm. Imagine thiscsmooth sensuous music, sexy lighting, candles galore, glass tables with comfortable lounge chairs and a marble serpentine bar pushing the finest martinis and top shelf cocktails. The evening is not complete unless you sample an item on the late night Bistro menu featuring Hawaii Regional Cuisine at it's best.

Mix and mingle or just kick back and watch the spectacle, you choose. Who knows who you might meetcthe crowd is professional, posh and impressive. We are all celebrities of sorts and at the Wonderlounge, it sure feels like the real thing (minus the paparazzi).

ROCKY BROWN
Born in Calamba, Laguna, in the Philippines, Rocky exhibited a keen enthusiasm for song and dance at an early age. She studied piano under the tutelage of her grandfather, who was the United States Army Band Conductor. At the tender age of sixteen, she moved to New York City, where she attended St. Johnfs University, and upon graduating, decided to pursue music full-time. It was at this time that her talent began to manifest itself.
Her career first started in 1987 with a single entitled gLet The Love Beginh, which was recorded in the Philippines. It became the number one song for that year which also became a gold single two weeks after it was released. She continued on to release her first CD in the Philippines entitled gOnly A Dreamh, while appearing in various television sitcoms, variety shows and TV commercials.
Meanwhile, in New York Rocky quickly gained ground in the entertainment industry, appearing on such television shows as gThe Cosby Showh, gAll My Childrenh, and had a recurring role as gKyh in the daytime program gAnother Worldh. She was also in New York Universityfs production of gSweet Charityh. She went on to do her own cabaret act, a one-woman show, which gained rave reviews among the theater crowd in Manhattan.
The pinnacle, however, came in 1991, when she joined the original Broadway Cast of gMiss Saigonh. This experience achieved for her the vocal strengthening that she needed for the hardships of performing on the road.
After a successful career both in New York and the Philippines Rocky decided to trade in her dancing shoes for slippers in the warm and tranquil islands of Hawaifi. In 1995 she released the single gLove Song of Kaluah and went on to release her second CD in Hawaii in 1997 entitled gIn Characterh, that instantly made her a household name. Since then, she became the featured artist at the prestigious Hano Hano Room in Waikiki for 8 years. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, been featured with the Honolulu Symphony, and performed with Philippinefs well renowned singer/songwriter Jose Marie Chan at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Rocky also opened a show for world famous jazz trumpeter and pianist Arturo Sandoval and performed with Grammy Award-winning vocalist, James Ingram at the Roy Sakuma Ukulele Festival.
Recently performed for 2007 gReturn To Romanceh music festival at the Hawaii Theater.
